Villebillies
Formed in Louisville in early 2001, when Demi Demaree – then the lead singer of Plan Of Man – started working with the hip hop production team of Dustin Tucker and William Young. The name is an ironic nod to the city: the Ville and the billies, the city and the country in the same band.
First live show 16 February 2002. By late 2004 the band had merged with Plan Of Man into a ten-piece. Universal Motown signed them in August 2005.

Singles include "Stranger", "One Shot", "No Seeds", "Flask and a Gun" and "Talk To Me". "Love Is Kind of Crazy" is a reworking of the Classics IV’s "Spooky", released worldwide through Sony/RED in November 2013.
Alice Cooper cut "Holy Water"
Demi co-wrote "Holy Water". Alice Cooper covered it on his 2017 album Paranormal – an album produced by Bob Ezrin, who had also produced on the Villebillies’ 2006 major label debut.
Production
The 2006 Universal Motown debut carried the band’s own productions alongside tracks by Toby Wright (Alice In Chains, Primus) and Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, KISS, Alice Cooper), who was brought in late to produce the album’s final track.
